Misfits Racing is a group of speed-loving derelicts stemming from the 1970s when Jim "Pops" Reed brought home a racing go-kart for himself. His love for racing spilled over onto his children, grandchildren, and countless others over the ensuing decades. The list below represents past and present Misfit drivers, many of whom are karting champions, sports car endurance and sprint race winners, and a NASCAR Daytona winner. 

The team competes in the West Coast Lucky Dog and NASA racing series with BMW s prepared by Legacy Motorsports.
